How to Tell if Your Book is Commercially Viable

If you are thinking of writing a nonfiction book, and your goal is to land an agent and a traditional book deal, you need to first ask yourself if your book is commercially viable. That is, after all, the question they are going to ask.

I’m Jennie Nash, founder and CEO of Author Accelerator, a company on a mission to lead the book coaching industry.

I’ve helped dozens of writers through the book development process, including Wall Street Journal and New York Times bestselling writers. I’ve created a six-part test to help you answer the key questions about commercial viability.

We match writers with Author Accelerator coaches, and we do it one by one, by hand, based on your background, your topic, your deadline, and your budget.

Our coaches are trained in the Blueprint for a Book method, a 14-step process used to assess the foundational elements of your idea.

They can lead you through a Blueprint, the writing of a book, and the book proposal development process.

The matching process is $25. You can have a strategy call with the coach we match you with to see if it’s a good fit before hiring them for additional coaching.
